Run a daily work review

G033 min readUpdated 28 October 2026

Who: Record owners and officers. When: At the start of the working day, or at your organisation's agreed cadence.

Deployed to JPWTech, 27 October 2026: The corrected dashboard separates Contracts ending soon from Register records ending soon. Each uses its displayed end-date window, not the renewal-notice deadline. High-or-above risks open counts open risks with High, Very High or Critical inherent ratings (10–25); it is not a residual-risk measure. Application e45d670 is deployed and verified in JPWTech; see the release evidence (administrator reference). Other installations require their own rollout.

Select an attention tile to see the records that produced its count, then select a record link. Training links show the selected training record; Show all records restores the list, while the compliance matrix retains its permitted scope. An unavailable record is identified explicitly. End-date and obligation rows link directly to their records.

Read Scope and calculation notes, the business date (Pacific/Auckland), configured windows and last-updated time. Counts apply to your permitted records; hidden modules and an empty result do not establish organisation-wide compliance. Indicators can overlap. Refresh dashboard reloads current saved information, and returning to the browser window also refreshes it. Snapshots older than five minutes are labelled; a failed refresh identifies the retained previous snapshot. Deadline indicators account for current dates as well as recorded attention statuses, so a delayed sweep does not hide overdue work. Lists retain the saved workflow status, which can lag the date. Refreshing does not execute the sweep, change records or send notifications. The last successful sweep time is not available in this view. A missing obligation date remains Not set.

  1. Review Today, confirm its scope and freshness, then open the relevant attention list or register.
  2. Open overdue, expiring, unassigned and blocked items. Confirm the dates and supporting evidence rather than changing a status just to clear a warning.
  3. Assign or confirm an owner, record the next action and use a task or obligation where appropriate.
  4. Perform the authorised work, save it and reopen the record to check the result.
  5. Escalate time-sensitive items through your organisation's agreed process. An in-app reminder does not prove that an email was sent or read.

Complete when: Each priority item has an accurate status, a responsible person and an understood next step. Use record maintenance for the common editing pattern.
