Availability: Deployment feature must be enabled. The current live-library implementation requires organisation access-administration authority as well as the underlying record/attachment read permissions. Officer-wide access is a proposed extension, not an existing grant.
- Open Access & identity > Document intelligence and confirm that you are in the intended organisation's library.
- Review visible sources. Use Index pending sources when authorised to process pending records/files, read the confirmation and start indexing.
- Wait for indexing results. It processes bounded work and can stop between sources; a cold worker may need time to start. Investigate failed sources rather than treating them as empty documents.
- Search using a specific question or terms. Open the relevant result and inspect the source passage, record and page/section.
- Use Open source record or Download original to verify significant details before acting.
Complete when: The answer is supported by the intended current source. The present extraction feature supports PDFs up to 4 MiB/100 pages and UTF-8 text, Markdown and CSV; image-only scans need OCR, which is not enabled. General attachment limits are separate. An empty result does not establish that the obligation or information does not exist.
