Open the record's History section for its context, or Proof > Audit trail for the recent visible event list. Check actor, action, record reference and timestamp. The general audit page labels timestamps as UTC and currently requests the latest 200 events; it is not an unlimited searchable history interface. Directory history displays a bounded recent list as well.
Ask an authorised operator for a scoped investigation if the event is outside the visible window. Do not edit or delete audit evidence to correct business facts; make a traceable record correction. Hash-chain verification is an operator check of recorded integrity, not proof that every recorded fact was accurate.
